No other project mastered the aesthetic possibilities as much as this - and with the use of the lightest of materials - air. The installation uses airflow to control and suspend the movement of small lightweight spheres. The components used to produce the project are easily understood, but when combined together along with the weightless quality of the white spheres, it produces a mysterious and magical quality. The result is something that goes beyond its technological sophistication. It invites us to closely view and review the installation again - to study it at different levels, for example, from the level of craftsmanship, to how people interact with it up close, to the lighting and ultimately its perfect balancing act of both tangible and non-tangible qualities.
