「中学生の頃ロックスターに憧れて教室の片隅でほうきギターをしていた。あの頃、僕はまだ純粋に夢を見ていた。」 大人になり人生に葛藤する中で「幾つになっても夢を追いかけたい」という作者の魂の叫びから、ほうきをかき鳴らすとロックスターになる妄想が現実となる「I am☆Star」が生まれた。それが本作の原点である。 そして、個人の妄想・憧れは、人と人がぶつかり合うバンドという次のステージへと進む。 音と光を演奏できる"清掃楽器"ほうきギター、はたきドラム、デッキブラシベース、ちりとりキーボードによる、鑑賞者飛び入り参加型のインタラクティブパフォーマンスアート作品へ発展させた。飛び入り参加した鑑賞者同士が相手と息を合わせて音を重ねて行く事で音楽が生まれ、演奏者のグルーヴは音と光でさらにオーディエンスに伝わり楽しさとワクワクが広がって行く。 バンドは相手へのリスペクトのない演奏では成立しない。人と人が繋がり、相手のソウルを感じる事で初めて音が響き合い、アンサンブルが生まれる。各々に役割があり、支え合う事で一人では到達できない高みへと行く関係性は、社会における仲間の存在と似ているのではないだろうか。その場に居合わせた相手とセッションする体験を通して、仲間という存在の尊さを問いかける。 本作では「鑑賞者飛び入り参加型インタラクティブパフォーマンスアート」という新たなジャンルを作った。空間の中に清掃楽器を並べ、私たちが演奏している中に鑑賞者に飛び込んで来てもらう。音楽を奏でる「表現するという行為」や、他の観客に見られるという事もあり、彼らには多少なりとも勇気をもって飛び込んでもらう必要がある。そんな鑑賞者とセッションを成立させるためにはこちらも心を開いていかなければならない。 最初は見た目が掃除用具なのに音が鳴る不思議さに目を引かれて寄ってくる人が大半だが、人間が無意識に持ってしまう「かっこよく演奏しなければ」「上手にやらなければ」という感情は、掃除用具というお世辞にもかっこいいとは言えない見た目により薄れて行く。この見た目や弾き方が演奏に対するハードルを下げ、人は音に対して自由になって行く。 音に、リズムに、心が自由になると、演奏も自由になって行く。自由な心で演奏している中、他の人が音で会話してくる。リズムを合わせてきたり、音を重ねてきたり、楽しそうに揺れてきたり。そんな時少しずつ心が触れ合い、お互いのリスペクトが生まれて行く。気分も高揚し、笑顔が溢れ出す。その空気が周りのギャラリーを呼び寄せる。そしてまた別の鑑賞者が飛び込んで来ると、鑑賞者同士がセッションし、更に輪が広がって行く。私たちも鑑賞者もこの作品の一部であり、パフォーマーであり、オーディエンスである。「鑑賞者飛び入り参加型インタラクティブパフォーマンス」は、楽譜もなく、メンバー、演奏、空気感が常に流動的に変化し続ける。 来場した小学生の女の子が言いに来た。「学校では決まった音しか出しちゃダメって言われるけど、この作品は好きな時に好きな音をみんなで自由に鳴らして踊っていいからだーいすき！」 好きなように表現する喜び。音と身体で対話をし、楽しい気持ちを共有する時間。彼女は周りの人と自由にジャムセッションを繰り広げ、体を揺らし、何度も訪れ３時間ほど遊び倒して帰っていった。 彼女の言葉には体験して初めてわかるこの作品の真髄が詰まっている。 他人が望む自分を生きるのではなく、あるがままの自分でいること。それなくして本当に他人を尊重することはできない。鑑賞者が作品の中で他人をリスペクトし、相手がいる事ではじめて奏でられる音楽の素晴らしさや、一人では決して見ることができない世界を共に演奏する相手と一緒に見るという体験を通して、仲間の尊さを感じる事ができれば、他人と自分が違うところを認めながら尊重し合える世の中に少しずつでもなって行けるのではないか。そんな想いを込めて活動を続ける。 制作年　2018年11月～2019年8月 仕様形態　鑑賞者参加型インタラクティブパフォーマンス 空間サイズ　5m(width) x 5m(depth) x 3m(hight) Web Site: http://www.tetsujin-audiovisual.com/

It's Appreciator participation type Interactive Performance art work with a broom guitar, a deck brush bass, a duster drum called  “Musical Cleaning Instrument” which can play tone and light. Familiar cleaning tools become musical instruments, and Appreciator jump into the jam sessions one after another and participate.When they play it being in tune with each other, and the music will be born.The lights and sound make audience happy and their groove and emotion spread from person to person. Without the respect in each other, music band doesn’t exist. Listening to each other carefully, looking them in the eyes, feeling soul of each other ,and then they can create the music together. Everyone in the band has a role, and by supporting each other, they go to a higher that cannot be reached alone. The relationship is similar to the existence of company in society. Through the experience of that session with people who happened to be there, we appeal the importance of company.

Based on the memories of playing with a cleaning tool as an instrument, the idea of ​​playing a broom guitar like this was realized as a cleaning tool that can actually be played. The instrument was designed with 3D CAD, made with 3D printed parts and parts available at the home center, built in with a sensor and microcomputer, and programmed an algorithm to convert sensor information into sound. The performance information is sent wirelessly from the instrument to the PC, and audio and visual are created from the performance data by a self-made program. I think that the instrument must be able to express the player's feelings freely. There is no automatic performance function, and it improves so that a player may practice. The balance has been adjusted so that children and adults can have sessions together regardless of their musical instrument experience.
